LTPI (LVDS Tunneling Protocol & Interface) is defined in the OCP DC-SCM
2.0 specification:
https://www.opencompute.org/documents/ocp-dc-scm-2-0-ltpi-ver-1-0-pdf
LTPI is a protocol and physical interface for tunneling various low-speed
signals between the HPM and SCM. As shown in Figure 2, the AST27x0 (left)
integrates two LTPI controllers, allowing it to connect to up to two
extended boards.
This commit introduces a simple device model for the ASPEED LTPI
controller in QEMU.
The model includes basic MMIO read/write operations and sets default
register values during reset to emulate a link-up state.
Implements register space with read/write callbacks.

Add a minimal PCI test device designed to exercise IOMMU translation
(such as ARM SMMUv3) without requiring guest firmware or OS. The device
provides MMIO registers to configure and trigger DMA operations with
controllable attributes (security state, address space), enabling
deterministic IOMMU testing.
Key features:
- Bare-metal IOMMU testing via simple MMIO interface
- Configurable DMA attributes for security states and address spaces
- Write-then-read verification pattern with automatic result checking
The device performs a deterministic DMA test pattern: write a known
value (0x12345678) to a configured GVA, read it back, and verify data
integrity. Results are reported through a dedicated result register,
eliminating the need for complex interrupt handling or driver
infrastructure in tests.
This is purely a test device and not intended for production use or
machine realism. It complements existing test infrastructure like
pci-testdev but focuses specifically on IOMMU translation path
validation.

According to the design of the AST2600, it has a Silicon Revision ID
Register, specifically SCU004 and SCU014, to set the Revision ID for the
AST2600. For the AST2600 A3, SCU004 is set to 0x05030303 and SCU014 is
set to 0x05030303.
In the "aspeed_ast2600_scu_reset" function, the hardcoded value
"AST2600_A3_SILICON_REV" was used for SCU004, while "s->silicon_rev" was
used for SCU014. The value of "s->silicon_rev" is set by the SoC layer
via the "silicon-rev" property. This patch aligns both SCU004 and SCU014
to use "s->silicon_rev" for consistency and flexibility.
Similarly, the "aspeed_ast1030_scu_reset" function also used a fixed
revision constant ("AST1030_A1_SILICON_REV"). This change updates it to
use the same "s->silicon_rev" property, ensuring that both SoCs follow
a consistent and configurable revision handling mechanism.
